FSB Celebrating Small Business Awards held on 23 May in London

FSB Insurance Service are very proud of the relationship that we have with FSB members and we greatly enjoyed attending the 2019 FSB Celebrating Small Business Awards.

We were the headline sponsors of the awards final and it was a great opportunity to meet so many excellent business owners at the final on Thursday 23^rd May. We invited some of our friends from businesses that have helped support FSB Insurance Service and its members along as a thank you for all their hard work.

The evening was hosted by Meera Syal CBE, the comedian, writer, playwright, journalist and actress who is best known for ‘Goodness Gracious Me’ and ‘The Kumars at No. 42’.

More than 2,000 small businesses from across the UK entered the FSB Celebrating Small Business Awards 2019 and we have to say- the quality of each entry was very high indeed. Well done to all the finalists and winners.

Small Business of the year- Cruise Loch Ness

Cruise Loch Ness won both Family Business of the Year and the FSB Celebrating Small Business Awards grand prize out of over 100 finalists from across the UK. The business was singled out for its sustained investment over its 50 years in operation. It also launched a bespoke online booking system.

FSB Chairman’s Award- Allegro Optical

Allegro Optical won the FSB Chairman’s Award in recognition of their resilience after one of the co-founders of the business suffered a life threatening illness.
