OUR CHARITY PARTNERSHIP WITH SECHC
We are proud to announce our support for charity South East Cancer Help Centre Registered Number 1011509 (SECHC) in 2022.
About South East Cancer Help Centre
SECHC started in 1983 as a small self-help group for people diagnosed with cancer operating out of a residential property in Caterham, Surrey.
As their numbers increased they eventually found a permanent home in Purley, in a purpose built center provided by national retailer Tescos.
Nowadays the centre provides a range of complementary therapies and counseling by professional therapists for people with cancer. They offer everything from reflexology to social gatherings and not to forget their locally famous ‘Paint Purley Purple’ yarn bombing campaign.
This great charity is a lifeline for those with cancer when they need a little bit of extra support.
How Are We Working Together?
FSB Insurance Service will be holding a series of fundraising events throughout 2022, in fact we’ve already begun.
So far we’ve held a quiz, easter egg hunt, and opened our ‘Jubilee Games’ (guess the sweets in the jar, name the teddy bear and a lucky dip) and raised £1100 of our £3000 goal!
We held our first event of the year for our chosen charity @secancerhelp last week, our office quiz! We raised over £200!

But what does the rest of the year hold for our charitable activities? In June we’ll be holding a fancy dress in-office competition, July is our BBQ day (our MD David Perry does the cooking!), we’re raffling an extra day off and committing to a massive 50k walk in September, and that’s just a sample of what we have in store.
How Can You Help?
We are always hoping to connect with people who want to help make things better, and supporting our activities via our JustGiving page is an easy and cost-effective way to do just that. You can pop over to our JustGiving page and help us out, we appreciate any donation big or small
